World’s oldest person Juan Vicente Perez Mora died at the age of 114.

The world’s oldest person died at the age of 114. A man named Juan Vicente Perez Mora from the South American country of Venezuela was declared the oldest person in the world.

“At 114 years old, Juan Vicente Perez Mora has transcended into eternity,” stated Nicolas Maduro, the president of Venezuela, on the social media site X.

According to media reports, Juan was also officially certified by Guinness World Records in 2022 at the age of 112 years and 253 days.

According to media reports, Juan was the father of 11 children and has 41 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, while he has 18 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 12 children.

Juan was a farmer by profession and started working in the fields with his father and brothers at the age of 5, being the ninth of ten siblings.

Maria Branyas Morera added her name to the Guinness World Records (GWR) list as she celebrated her 117th birthday earlier. She was born in 1907 and is currently the oldest living survivor of the Spanish Flu pandemic, the COVID-19 epidemic, World War I, and World War II.
