Sindh government announces the closure of institutions for Youm-e-Ali.
The provincial government issued a notification regarding Youm-e-Ali on Friday.
Pursuant to the decision of the Steering Committee meeting to be held in February 2022, all public and private educational institutions under the administrative control of the College Education Department will remain closed on Yum-Ali (21st Ramzan 1444 AH), Wednesday, April 12, 2023, the notification said.
Youm-Ali, observed on the 21st of Ramadan, sees large processions across the country to commemorate the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali.
