Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy C55 5G, a budget-friendly smartphone.

This most recent edition, which made its debut on Monday, is based on the Galaxy M55, which was unveiled in India and sports a powerful 5000mAh battery and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 engine. With a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that can reach 1000 nits of brightness and a peak refresh rate of 120 Hz, this gadget is equipped with 45W rapid charging. The Galaxy C55 5G is priced at 1,999 yuan ($274) and has a number of features.

Running Android 14, the dual SIM (Nano) Samsung Galaxy C55 boasts a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits.
Driven by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, it supports up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of expandable storage (up to 1TB).
A 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter make up the adaptable triple back unit of its camera configuration. The front camera also has a 50-megapixel sensor.
5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity features. Dolby Atmos speakers are also included.
Accelerometers, gyroscopes, light sensors, proximity sensors, geomagnetic sensors, and an in-display fingerprint sensor are among the sensors. Samsung’s Knox Vault feature and security features are also included. With a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging, the device weighs 180 grams and has dimensions of 163.9×76.5×7.8mm.

The Samsung Galaxy C55 is likely to retail for about PKR 113,954 in Pakistan, and its launch is scheduled for May 17, 2024.
