As a result of the collapse of a 3-storey decayed building in the historic city of Multan, 9 people died and 2 were seriously injured. Among the dead are 2 women and 1 child.
Media sources state that the collapse of a three-story structure in Multan’s Mohalla Jawadian claimed many lives. There have been two serious injury transfers to the hospital. The youngest of the dead was eleven years old.

Rescue teams reached the spot on receiving information about the accident that took place late at night. The operation has been completed after removing the dead bodies from the debris.
According to Deputy Commissioner Multan, the incident involving the building fall would be thoroughly investigated. A technical team has been assembled to conduct a visual assessment of the nearby structures.
It should be remembered that earlier, as a result of the collapse of a building under construction in Shah Faisal Colony area of Karachi, 3 people died under the debris. The video of the incident went viral on social media.
As soon as the building collapse was reported in October last year, the rescue personnel reached the scene and started the work of evacuating the trapped people. Initially, 2 people were killed, but one more body was recovered from the wreckage.
