What made Shaheen Afridi Decide Against Participating in Ongoing BPL?

Shaheen Afridi decide to skip BPL, focusing on rehabilitation at NHPC.

According to the sources, the left-arm bowler is fast and meant to be a part of the BPL and play two to three games as a component of their data recovery on Saturday.

They claimed that the bowler later decided to not participate in the competition and would carry on his data recovery rather in Pakistan.

According to the reports, the speedster would fly into Lahore this week after completing its treatment during the NHPC.

The speedster missed the home show against England and New Zealand as a result of a knee injury he suffered on 12 while playing in the T20 World Cup final in Australia, in November.

Despite the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) claim that there is “no sign of injury,” Shaheen has been out for more than two months.

Getting ready to return

While exercising with the team that is in national preparation for the one-day international (ODI) series against New Zealand, Shaheen said he was feeling better and was prepared to return very soon.

Shaheen shared a video clip from the PCB in which he discussed their rehab and recuperation, writing in a Tweet, “we have always been prepared.”

Cliffe Deacon, the group’s physiotherapist, received praise from Shaheen for his rehab efforts and claimed it had been beneficial for him to become by the relative side throughout the procedure.

The pacer added that the administration for the PCB has provided him with a week-by-week schedule for his return to play.

“This week, which finished today, I bowled about 19 overs. We’ll be bowling about 25 overs the following week disclosed to Geo News.

The fast bowler, “I missed this all so much; it’s great to be back on the ground, and I also have always been grateful to the Almighty for this.”

Shaheen acknowledged that being away from the field had been really difficult for choosing him, but his family and buddies kept him. But a lot more than anything, he was able to remain composed at that moment as a result of his passion to once play for Pakistan.

The Pakistani side greatly missed the services of a quality pacer during the present home season, as evidenced by its 3-0 Test series loss to England and 1-2 ODI series loss to New Zealand at the home.
