Apart from representing Pakistan in one Test and three ODIs, Atiq-uz-Zaman has extensive coaching experience. He has served as the head coach of Pakistan’s first-class team, Sui Southern Gas Corporation (SSGC), and has been involved with Lahore Qalandars as a fielding coach in the past.

While earning his Level 4 coaching qualification, he also serves as a batting scout for the England and England Lions men’s national teams.

Additionally, he has served as the Head of Fielding and Wicket-keeping Coach at the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) High-Performance Centre in Lahore.

The DCB sees Atiq-uz-Zaman’s engagement as a focus on the strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of development programs as part of the elite high-performance process.

The board hopes that his involvement will enable them to further their current national and under-19 squads and enhance the general talent development in German cricket.

Despite his brief playing career, Atiq-uz-Zaman has made a successful career out of coaching and is eager to contribute to the development of German cricket.
