When asked about the arrest warrant that had been issued for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former prime minister Imran Khan. Ned Price declined to comment, saying that these were questions for the Pakistani people. These aren’t issues that the US should be dealing with.
A representative for the State Department responded to a question about the escalating political turmoil and chaos in Pakistan by saying.

We call on all nations to preserve their responsibilities towards Afghan refugees and asylum seekers. and to forgo sending them back to areas where they might be subjected to torture or other forms of repression.
In response to a question about internet blackouts in India. particularly in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). He said that we talk about freedom of expression and freedom of people around the world to access information. and we continue to emphasize the importance of freedom of expression.
