A pension increase letter is good news for retired persons under EOBI.
According to the details, in the notification, Jawad Sohrab Malik, Special Adviser on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resources, claimed that the pension amount of retirees under EOBI has increased by 17%.
In his latest message on social networking site X, he said that the pension payment has been increased from Rs 8,500 to Rs 10,000.
He said that the increase in the stated value of pension will come into force in July 2023. From September 2023, pensioners will start getting the increased amount.
According to Jawad Sohrab Malik, the caretaker government’s proposal to include the dues of July and August in the pension will benefit millions of retirees, God willing.
