A possible reason emerged in Internet to shut down across in Pakistan.
According to internet Monitor NetBlocks, Live Metrics shows the national level of usage shut down across Pakistan on social media platforms including Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube and Instagram. The statement added that this live fundraising session will be held on social media platforms.
A statement from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf came out on the micro-blogging site X, in which it was stated that, “It will announce its election manifesto along with the launch of a virtual fundraising telethon this Sunday at 9 pm.”
However, as the time for the live session of its election fundraising telethon approached, former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party PTI faced difficulties in accessing social medias platforms across the country, which continued.
It may be recalled that earlier also last month during PTI’s virtual power show there were reports of internet shutdown across the country.
