Maryam Nawaz Approved Free Wi-Fi Pilot Project in Lahore

Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz approved the free Wi-Fi pilot project in Lahore.

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, in which it was informed that the free Wi-Fi project will be started at 10 places in Lahore in 2 weeks, free Wi-Fi points will be made at 516 places in the city.

Maryam Nawaz has directed to start free Wi-Fi preferably at educational institutions, airports, railway stations and bus stands.

At the conference, they approved the construction of the 21-story Arfa Karim ATower 2.

During a briefing in the meeting, they announced that the IT, Education, and Film City project will begin shortly in Lahore.

Microsoft, Oracle, and other large corporations have indicated their support for IT City.

Maryam Nawaz has directed to invite the big IT companies of China to build offices and said that the best IT companies of the world will be provided business opportunities in the IT City.

The Chief Minister of Punjab has set the deadline for the plan for the establishment of Lahore Knowledge Park and IT City.
