Maryam Nawaz Announced Free Bus Service for Students

Maryam Nawaz announced free bus service for students in every tehsil.

On Monday, Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Punjab, declared that all tehsils in the state will offer free bus transportation to female students.

At a high-level discussion about transportation projects in the province, she made this news. This time, she gave the relevant authorities instructions to set up a free school bus program for female students in each tehsil. She said that the government should be in charge of putting an end to people’s misery.

During the meeting, the Punjab government gave its approval to the plan to supply 657 environmentally friendly buses for the best transportation options in the province’s major cities.

The CM received a detailed briefing on 657 eco-friendly urban bus projects and 20,000 electric bike projects in Punjab during the meeting.

During the meeting, it was revealed that the bike project will begin on May 9 and that, in the first phase, diesel hybrid regenerated buses will be operated in various cities, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Bahawalpur.

Because the people are having financial issues and the government will have to shoulder the responsibility, Maryam Nawaz directed that the amount of advance for the students be reduced.
