Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has launched the Laptop Scheme 2025 worth billions for Pakistan’s future young students.
Speaking during the fourth phase of the launch ceremony of the Prime Minister (PM) Laptop Scheme 2025, Shahbaz Sharif praised the talented youth, their parents and teachers on behalf of the entire country, whose talent and hard work are making Pakistan proud.
He said that one lakh computers are being given to the youth across the country on the basis of merit only and the success of the youth is the result of the prayers of their parents and teachers. The laptop program was launched in 2011 and has helped millions of children so far.

He added that Pakistan should play a major role in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and information technology as the youth of the country are its real architects and they should move forward in these fields.
These laptops should not have advertising logos but pictures of the students who will use them to make Pakistan great.

Saudi Arabia has promised to provide education and training opportunities to Pakistani youth and is spending billions of rupees in the AI industry.
Moreover, Saudi Arabia will provide free AI training to Pakistani workers. The government will utilize all available resources for the development of future generations.
