Students who Killed Teacher in DI Khan Sentenced to Death

Court sentenced the students to death in the case of killing teacher.

A court of Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan has sentenced two female students to death and one minor student to life imprisonment in the case of killing a female teacher.

On Monday, the court imposed a fine of Rs 20, 20 lakh on the two adult students and Rs 10 lakh on the minor student.

It should be noted that in March 2022, three female students killed their teacher by stabbing her in the Anjumabad area of Dera Ismail Khan.

District Police Officer Dera Ismail Khan had said that ‘in the initial investigation, it was revealed that a relative of these women had a dream that the deceased had committed blasphemy, due to which they killed her.’

When and where was the teacher killed?

This murder incident took place on March 29, 2022 in Madrasah Jamia Islamia Fallah Al-Banat of Dera Ismail Khan.

He had told the police in his initial statement that ‘on receiving the information, I immediately reached the madrasa and found the niece lying in blood near the gate of the madrasa, her throat had been cut and she had died.’

According to the deceased’s uncle, he came to know that as usual when his niece reached the madrassa in a rickshaw, there were already some women in the madrassa uniform who attacked her with a sharp instrument and cut her niece’s throat.

According to the police, two of the women involved in the murder are sisters, while the third woman is a cousin.

The police detained the three women and seized the machetes and sticks from them.
