President Alvi Emphasize Religious & Modern Education for IT Industry.
when he said on Monday that societies that adopted knowledge and used education as a means to achieve global advantages and social well-being and economic prosperity were now making rapid progress in all areas of life.
Speaking on Monday at the Minhaj University Lahore (MUL) Convocation 2022, Dr. Arif Alvi urged the country to strive for continued learning because it is a tradition of Muslims.
“The world community was looking towards Pakistan having a youth bulge to respond to the demands of this crucial sector since the IT industry was facing a global workforce shortage,” he added. Pakistan needs to make the most of this fantastic chance.
According to the President, it is the duty of the state to protect women from harassment and to keep them involved in society’s economic cycle.
To double the rate of progress, he stated, “women should remain in the mainstream of the national development process and an economic cycle of the country.
” Since Hazrat Khadija (RA) was a successful businesswoman, it was unjustified to keep educated women at home to handle exclusively domestic duties.
He continued by saying that Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Jinnah had also spoken in favour of including women in the process of national development.

fifty per cent of female students who received an MBBS degree either chose not to practise in the field or chose to serve in another country, which was unfortunate and in some ways a waste of the resources allocated to them during their time in the relevant educational institutions.
Additionally, he counselled the graduating students to utilise their knowledge and abilities to improve society and empower the underprivileged instead of isolating themselves from it in their practical lives.
He asserted that communication is the foundation of human interactions and that individuals should refrain from spreading unsubstantiated information and communications that are taken out of context since doing so is immoral and goes against Islamic teachings. Some of the graduates who held positions received medals and degrees from the President as well.
Prior to it, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sajid Mahmood Shahzad and Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohiyyuddin spoke on the occasion and emphasised the history and accomplishments of the university.
