Ali Zaidi Quits Politics, Resigns from PTI Positions

Ali Zaidi, PTI Sindh President, quits politics and party positions.

In a video message, Ali Zaidi said that he had entered politics for Pakistan. He had already condemned the May 9 accidents.

“Pakistan’s military forces are something of which we are proud, and their protection of our borders allows us to sleep soundly. The PTI leader, who was recently transferred to Jacobabad jail, asked that “whoever may have been involved in what happened on May 9 should be held accountable.”

The former federal minister insisted that after giving it a lot of thought. He made the “difficult decision” to leave politics.

I’ve decided to give up on politics. Zaidi announced. “I’m resigning from my positions as Tehreek-e-Insaf Sindh’s president, core committee member, and MNA.

Before getting into politics, Zaidi promised to “work for Pakistan and bring investments from abroad.”

“Before entering politics, I used to bring foreign exchange to Pakistan. I want to do that work once more.”

“I am bidding farewell to politics,” the former federal minister said at the end of his video message.

Zaidi’s house in the port city was turned into a sub-jail and he was placed under house arrest on May 9 as a result of his detention pursuant to Section 4 of the Maintenance of Public Order Act.
