The imam of the mosque was brutally murdered in state of New Jersey.
According to the report of the American broadcasting agency, the incident happened in the city of Newark, New Jersey, at around 6 am local time, an unknown person shot at the car of Imam Hassan Sharif outside the Muhammad Newark mosque and murdered him.
The local police said regarding this sad incident that so far nothing has been known about this murder, but further investigation is going on.
Imam Hasan Sharif was performing the duties of Imamate in the mosque of Newark for the last 5 years.
When Imam Masjid passed away, United States Transportation Security Administration spokesperson Lisa Forbes said that since 2006, this man named Hassan Sharif was a transportation security officer at Newark’s Liberty International Airport and also worked here as Imam Mosque.
Lisa Forbes continued by saying that we are deeply saddened by his death, our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

According to reports, a $25,000 reward has been announced for information about the shooter.
