Bilawal Bhutto opened Pakistan’s 1st lung transplant center in Gambat.
In the Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences at Gambat, Khairpur, he also set the foundation for the First Lung Transplant Center Health City and Pharmaceutical Unit.
The Health City, the first of its kind, would provide a full range of services for medical tourism in addition to lodging for attendants who accompany patients.
Bilawal also visited the Lung Transplant Centre and established the foundation for an initiative in the pharmaceutical industry.
The PPP Chairman noted that Sindh has a superior medical infrastructure to other provinces thanks to the government’s work. He added that patients from Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and other areas can receive free medical care at the Gambat Institute because it is a national organisation.
In addition, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari claimed that expensive treatment options for liver and kidney disorders, which were previously only available in India, are now accessible in Gambat.
