Pakistan Ranks Top Second of Umrah Pilgrims

Pakistanis rank 2nd in Umrah visiting Saudi Arabia in last 3.5 months.

370,000 Pakistani Umrah pilgrims have visited Saudi Arabia over the past 3.5 months of the current season, which lasts from the first of Muharram to the twentieth of Dhul-Qadah. The period between Dhul-Qadah 21 and Dhul Hijjah 30  know as the Hajj season.

This year, 1,964,000 pilgrims from all over the world arrived in Saudi Arabia on July 30 to begin the Umrah season but in addition, 1.78 million Muslims from all over the world arrived in Saudi Arabia by air, 180,000 made their way to Makkah by land, and 1,200 arrived by sea.

More than 551,000 Indonesians have traveled to Mecca for Umrah this season, followed by 370,000 Pakistanis, 230,000 Indians, and 100,000 Egyptians.

Indonesians made up the majority of the pilgrims from all other countries. So the duration of Umrah visas increased from one month to three months by the kingdom’s government.

The Umrah’s 90-day validity period extends from 30 days in Saudi Arabia. So with this new arrangement, pilgrims are free to go wherever they like within Saudi Arabia.

POPULATION GROWTH:

Pakistan is one of the eight countries where more than half of the global population increase between now and 2050 will be concentrate.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, the Philippines, and the United Republic of Tanzania are among these countries.

The 8 billion mark is a turning point for humanity and a time for reflection. It is time for Pakistan to take stock and respond. Because figures alone may not provide the full view.

So Its time to look beyond the numbers and continue to rely on evidence-based decision-making.

Although the world’s 8 billion people have made substantial progress in terms of welfare and growth , with better health systems, less poverty, and fewer maternal deaths, but the gain was not share equally.

Socioeconomic disparities exist across provinces and regions. Access to health care, rights, and quality of life differ by population group.

The universal lesson is that societies that invest in their people’s rights and choices are on the path to the prosperity and peace that everyone desires and deserves.

All efforts must prioritise women and girls but to bring the country on the path to prosperity, their reproductive health and rights, education, skill development, and employment must be emphasise.

Everyone must have access to family planning services, quality maternal health care, and relevant information.

“The power of choice can naturally move towards demographic and growth factors in the right direction. A right-based family planning campaign can change the scene to show economic development in terms of welfare levels and ensure gifted natural resources can be sustained for a longer period of time.”

SUITABLE PATH FOR THE COUNTRY:

Pakistan’s National Population Narrative on Population Growth has established a suitable direction for the country. It emphasises the importance of informed choice in family planning and the state’s responsibility to provide all citizens with the information and services.

Pakistan is among the few countries with detailed federal and provincial population policies and programme roadmaps. So Its time to put these plans into action.

All stakeholders must work together. so the birth of each child is pre-planned, safe and secure and the potential of each young one is observed.

After spending five days in London on a private visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif returned to Islamabad on Monday. Pakistan was removed from a global money laundering watchlist by the FATF last month, according to officials, in a significant achievement that Islamabad hopes will facilitate foreign investment and strengthen the economy of the nation.

In June 2018, the international money-laundering watchdog added Pakistan to its “grey list” for failing to enact laws intended to combat money laundering and the financing of foreign terrorist organizations.

The action substantially reduced exchange rates and deterred foreign direct investment by enclosing even the most straightforward enterprises in reams of paperwork.

FATF Monitoring Mechanism No Longer Applies To Pakistan

The Paris-based organization issued a statement in which it expressed its “support” for Pakistan’s “substantial progress” in its anti-money laundering initiatives.

As a result, “Pakistan is no longer subject to the FATF‘s heightened monitoring process,” the statement continued.

FATF Identified In June 2018

The FATF applauds Pakistan for making substantial strides toward strengthening its AML/CFT regime. In order to fulfil the obligations of its action plans regarding the strategic deficiencies that the FATF identified in June 2018 and June 2021, Pakistan has strengthened the efficacy of its AML/CFT regime and addressed technical shortcomings, the latter of which was finished ahead of schedule and included a total of 34 action items. PTV to bring back the fondly remembered 90s program “Ainak Wala Jin”.

Children were attracted to their televisions while the performance was broadcast from 1993 to 2002, a period of almost ten years.

It was also one of PTV’s most popular shows and continues to occupy a very special place in Pakistanis’ hearts.

“I recently spoke with some PTV officials at the Lahore station and they expressed their desire to revive the show on the mini-screen,” said Haseeb Pasha, who played the role of Hamoon Jadugar in it, to Dawn News. Ainak Wala Jin are he claimed that because a whole generation had grown up watching it, it was associated with the overwhelming memories of that generation.

Haseeb Pasha attributed the popular series’ 2002 cancellation to a lack of interest on the part of the producers and other PTV stakeholders. The updated series, according to Haseeb Pasha, has been in development at the Alhamra Arts Centre on The Mall in Lahore since February 2022. A puppet theatre was recently integrated into the production .Samina Ahmed, a TV producer and actor who once served as the Lahore Arts Council’s deputy director of programmes, introduced this puppet theatre thirty years ago. PTV Lahore created and aired the children’s television programme Ainak Wala Jin in Pakistan. Due to its humour and fanciful plot, it was very well-liked by kids in the 1990s.

 

Hafeez Tahir described the concept as a synthesis of science fiction, fantasy, and reality.

He asserted that communication is the foundation of human interactions and that individuals should refrain from spreading unsubstantiated information and communications that are taken out of context since doing so is immoral and goes against Islamic teachings. Some of the graduates who held positions received medals and degrees from the President as well.

It harmonises the primary colors of your wallpaper with the overall design of your phone, and soon it will be available on other operating systems like Windows, macOS, Linux, and others, at least for Google Chrome. Material You will be available in the browser on Windows and the aforementioned platforms with the most recent Chrome Canary release Dynamic Themes, version 110. Reddit user u/Leopeva64-2 discovered this and reported about it on the r/Chrome subreddit.

This version of material you is only compatible with Chrome since smartphones cannot connect to desktop wallpaper, unlike smartphones. With the new version, Chrome will be able to select the primary hues of any theme you select and use them throughout the entire browser. For instance, your entire browser will have the same shade of blue if you choose a background with blue as its primary colour.
