Sajal Aly, Fahad Mustafa, Humayun Saeed honored at Filmfare’s Dubai.
In his acceptance speech, Fahad Mustafa credited Bollywood star Govinda with inspiring him to begin acting in the first place. He also rushed off the stage and hugged and shook the actor of “Coolie No.1.”
On Saturday, Aly was named Most Popular Face of Pakistani Cinema, Saeed was named Trendsetter of Pakistani Cinema, and Mustafa was named Pakistan’s Most Promising Star. Saeed spoke about his win and the possibility of going to India in his speech, and Aly thanked him for giving her the opportunity to act and for believing in her. While the actor from ‘Quad-e-Azam Zindabad’ dedicated his speech to Govinda.
Fahad Mustafa said:
“Whether it’s a Pakistani or an Indian actor, this is an honour.” We all practised our speeches before stepping onto the stage at Filmfare, Sajal. By the way, I can’t top that; you (Sajal) did an outstanding job. Govinda sir inspired me to begin acting in the first place. We are your fans, and in Pakistan, we always thought if we had to act in a certain way, it had to be like you, until Ranveer came along.“
He added that he considers himself fortunate to be on the same stage as Govinda and asked the audience to applaud the star.”I hope Pakistan and India can work together again to do good,” he said.
Not only Mustafa was spotted with Bollywood A-listers, but Aly was also seen having a moment with Janhvi Kapoor before going on stage.
