Haseeb Pasha attributed the popular series’ 2002 cancellation to a lack of interest on the part of the producers and other PTV stakeholders. He added that Hafeez Tahir, the show’s originator, producer, and writer, had a keen interest in its creation but that no one had bothered to continue the production after Tahir’s retirement.

The updated series, according to Haseeb Pasha, has been in development at the Alhamra Arts Centre on The Mall in Lahore since February 2022. A puppet theatre was recently integrated into the production .Samina Ahmed, a TV producer and actor who once served as the Lahore Arts Council’s deputy director of programmes, introduced this puppet theatre thirty years ago. President Wants Taking Global Advantages in The IT Industry

President Alvi Emphasize Religious & Modern Education for IT Industry.

when he said on Monday that societies that adopted knowledge and used education as a means to achieve global advantages and social well-being and economic prosperity were now making rapid progress in all areas of life.

Speaking on Monday at the Minhaj University Lahore (MUL) Convocation 2022, Dr. Arif Alvi urged the country to strive for continued learning because it is a tradition of Muslims.

“The world community was looking towards Pakistan having a youth bulge to respond to the demands of this crucial sector since the IT industry was facing a global workforce shortage,” he added. Pakistan needs to make the most of this fantastic chance.

According to the President, it is the duty of the state to protect women from harassment and to keep them involved in society’s economic cycle.

To double the rate of progress, he stated, “women should remain in the mainstream of the national development process and an economic cycle of the country.

” Since Hazrat Khadija (RA) was a successful businesswoman, it was unjustified to keep educated women at home to handle exclusively domestic duties.

He continued by saying that Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Jinnah had also spoken in favour of including women in the process of national development.

According to Dr. Arif Alvi

fifty per cent of female students who received an MBBS degree either chose not to practise in the field or chose to serve in another country, which was unfortunate and in some ways a waste of the resources allocated to them during their time in the relevant educational institutions.

Additionally, he counselled the graduating students to utilise their knowledge and abilities to improve society and empower the underprivileged instead of isolating themselves from it in their practical lives.

He asserted that communication is the foundation of human interactions and that individuals should refrain from spreading unsubstantiated information and communications that are taken out of context since doing so is immoral and goes against Islamic teachings. Some of the graduates who held positions received medals and degrees from the President as well.

Prior to it, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sajid Mahmood Shahzad and Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohiyyuddin spoke on the occasion and emphasised the history and accomplishments of the university.

Many KP School teachers have not received salaries in Nearly Half Year

Thousands of unpaid teachers work in hundreds of double-shift schools.

Details indicate that over the past five months, the Elementary and Secondary Education Department of KP has not paid school teachers’ salaries at 1,443 double-shift schools located in 27 districts of the province. In order to enrol out-of-school children and relieve some of the strain on the province’s already overloaded public schools, the KP government established double-shift schools.

In March, almost 3,000 teachers were hired to work in these institutions. For these schools in settled districts, the province government had allotted Rs. 110 million, and for schools in merging districts, it had allotted Rs. 35 million. They begin by instructing pupils during the morning shift, and they continue with this during the evening shift as well. These double-shift schools have about 43,000 students enrolled. The future of these kids doesn’t seem promising because the teachers aren’t getting paid.

One of the unpaid instructors claimed that the majority of them simultaneously pursue their M Phil and PhD degrees concurrently with teaching. It is quite challenging to maintain the enthusiasm necessary to instruct the students without compensation.

Class teachers (CT), secondary school teachers (SST), secondary school subject specialists (SS), and primary school teachers (PST) were all engaged at a set monthly pay of Rs. 22,000, Rs. 25,000, Rs. 28,000, and Rs. 30,000, respectively. The salary for March, April, and May were paid out by the provincial government in May. The salary for June, July, August, September, and October have not yet been paid, nevertheless.

During the first week of September, a group of unpaid teachers met with Shahram Khan Tarakai, the KP Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education, who gave them the assurance that their salaries will be paid by the end of the month. The teachers have not yet received their pay, nevertheless.

Xi, Biden to Meet Face-to-Face Amid Superpower Tensions

Xi, Biden to Meet Face-to-Face Amid Superpower Tensions

President Biden to meet President Xi Jinping in person for first time.

The long-awaited face-to-face encounter will take place at a time when superpower ties are at their lowest point in decades. Prior to the annual Group of 20 (G20) meeting, which brings together the heads of the major established and emerging economies of the globe, the two will meet on Bali, an island in Indonesia.

Biden enters the summit riding high after Democrats won control of the Senate, a development that was welcomed by world leaders, and after Xi was granted an unprecedented third term in power last month.

I Am Stronger Than Before

“Although I am stronger than before, I don’t need that. I spent more time with Xi Jinping than any other world leader, therefore I am familiar with him.” Following the Senate vote results on Sunday, Biden spoke to media in Cambodia. “Where each of us stands is never calculated incorrectly.”

Floor For The Relationship with China

Prior to the G20, the US president is on a whirlwind tour that includes stops in Egypt for an international climate summit, an ASEAN summit, and Cambodia’s East Asia Summit. He hopes to establish a “floor for the relationship” with China and ensure that there are regulations governing competition between the two countries.

Biden recently stated that when he talks with Xi, he will not be making any fundamental compromises and that he wants both leaders to define their “red lines” and settle any points of contention.

Stabilization of Relation

The White House has stated that no joint statement is anticipated from the meeting, which is unlikely to result in any tangible outcomes. Nevertheless, it may contribute to the stabilization of relations amid rising tensions over issues ranging from Hong Kong and Taiwan to the South China Sea, coercive trade policies, and US technology restrictions.

Since Biden’s inauguration in January 2021, the two have spoken five times by phone or video. Their last in-person encounter took place under the Obama presidency. Particular tensions arose during US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan in August, the autonomous, democratic island that Beijing claims as its own.

Opportunities for US And China

Asserting that “the president sees the United States and China as being engaged in a fierce competition, but that competitiveness should not spill over into conflict or confrontation,” Sullivan told reporters and promised Biden will respond later. He added that Biden would search at opportunities for cooperation between the US and China in other sectors, such as public health or climate change.

More than ten years had passed since the beginning of the relationship.

In discussions that lasted 78 hours and covered almost 17,000 miles together, the two leaders are well acquainted, according to Biden’s estimations. In 2011 and 2012, when both were vice presidents of their respective nations, they spent time together in China and the United States.

Leaders of The Group of 20 in Bali, Indonesia

The Biden administration recently unveiled a new national security strategy that views an increasingly authoritarian China as the most significant threat to the international order. This meeting on Monday took place in conjunction with a gathering of the leaders of the Group of 20 in Bali, Indonesia.

Aim to Kill Two Birds with One Stone

According to Stanford University’s Oriana Skylar Mastro, a China scholar, “the Biden administration would aim to kill two birds with one stone – solicit Chinese backing on matters like reining in North Korea and climate change – to create some basis for collaboration between China and the US.”
