Caretaker PM Heading to Uzbekistan for ECO Summit

Caretaker PM Kakar departs for Uzbekistan to participate in the ECO.

The details state that the acting prime minister will travel to Uzbekistan for the two-day summit today. From November 8 to November 9, Anwar ul Haq Kakar will represent Pakistan at the summit.

Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar will attend the two-day summit in Tashkent and will reaffirm Pakistan’s commitment to actions based on ECO’s Vision 2025, according to caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, according to breaking news.

During the ECO Summit, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani stated that the country will keep up its role in fostering international cooperation in the areas of bilateral cooperation, trade, connectivity, tourism, productivity, and economic growth.

Along with discussing future ECO projects and regional ties, the Foreign Office reports that Kakar will also share Pakistan’s vision for fostering mutual prosperity with the member nations.

While Pakistan is one of the founding members of ECO, Anwar ul Haq Kakar will also discuss bilateral relations with the heads of other participating countries, including Uzbekistan, according to the Foreign Office spokesperson citing the most latest news headlines.
