Rashid Latif showed support for Babar Azam amid leadership criticism.
“In my opinion, the problem is not Babar Azam leadership, but rather his power. There appears to be a disagreement between Babar and a few former Pakistani cricketing legends. Who have taken to working with the board through their own allies to have him stripped of his captaincy, Rashid Latif claimed.
Few previous “superstar” cricketers in Pakistan, he claims, have apparently voiced their displeasure with the current captain of the team and have been trying to get him relieved of the captaincy by involving their own connections to the board.
The 54-year-old continued by praising Babar’s batting skills and asserting that he has already cemented his place among the all-time great cricketers.
There isn’t much more to say about Babar’s batting than what has already been said, so I won’t dwell on it. He has scored innumerable centuries right in front of our eyes. Babar is as accustomed to making centuries as we are to covering shows. Babar will unquestionably be regarded as one of cricket’s all-time greats when he quits, said Rashid.
Although Babar is giving his all for the Pakistani squad. Certain people are still trying to undermine Babar’s leadership, and Latif has urged them to stop.
“Those who are trying to remove Babar from his leadership must stop; he is just irremovable. That has been made possible by his superb technique, wise shot choice, and perfect equilibrium on the pitch, according to Latif.
“He is already responding to his critics by letting his bat speak for itself, but it seems that some people find this difficult to understand. He said, “Should he start hitting his critics with his bat to make his point, or what?”
