Federal government has decided to make Ishaq Dar as Foreign Minister.
The federal government has decided to make Senator Ishaq Dar as Foreign Minister and former Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani as Deputy Foreign Minister.
According to the details, Senator Ishaq Dar has been appointed Foreign Minister, Jalil Abbas Jilani as Deputy Foreign Minister and Tariq Fatemi as Special Assistant to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Foreign Affairs.
According to some media reports, the Prime Minister met former Abbas Jilani today, Secretary and former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar were also present during this meeting, during which important decisions were taken.
Former Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani briefed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the progress on foreign affairs during the Caretaker Government. Meanwhile, the decision to give Jalil Abbas Jilani an important position in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was revealed.
It should be noted that earlier the accountability court acquitted former finance minister Ishaq Dar in the case of assets in excess of income after getting a clean chit from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Accountability Court accepted Ishaq Dar’s acquittal request, after NAB’s clearance, the court accepted Ishaq Dar’s request during October last year.
