Ishaq Dar advised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan to own his mistakes and make a commitment not to repeat them in an interview with a private TV station late on Sunday.

The minister said that the government is prepared to give the lender the two or three items that the IMF has once again requested, including the specifics of the budget and the exchange strategy.

Dar said that Imran Khan has failed to apologize for the “35 punctures” charge as well, despite having pledged in writing that if the claims were proven false, he would apologize to the country. Dar’s remarks were made in a virtual speech to the PML-N’s abroad leaders.
