Hassan Ali also included in Pakistan World Cup 2023 squad

Pakistan’s 2023 Cricket W.C. squad announced for India, Hassan Ali.

Hasan Ali has been included in the squad in place of the injured Naseem Shah. He is one of the 15 members of the final squad. Pacer Naseem Shah, who is suffering from fitness issues, has been replaced by fast bowler Hassan Ali, Babar Azam has been retained as captain and Shadab Khan as vice-captain. Mohammad Rizwan, the only wicketkeeper of the national team, will go to India.

According to Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq, Hasan Ali performed well in the Lankan League, he is a team player, and his inclusion will strengthen the team, he said during a press conference in Lahore. He added that fast bowlers have limited options but Hasan Ali played well in the Lankan League.

According to Inzamam-ul-Haq, Hasan Ali was not included in the Asia Cup squad due to a finger injury and we did not make any changes to the six-month-old combination while fast bowlers Ehsanullah and Mohammad Hasnain also had fitness issues.

He said that currently the best fast bowler in the world is Naseem Shah, he has suffered a lot due to injury. Unfortunately, according to their reports, Naseem Shah will not be able to play soon, not even after the World Cup.

Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Abdullah Shafiq, wicket-keeper Muhammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Iftikhar Ahmed, Saud Shakeel, Muhammad Nawaz, Osama Mir, Muhammad Wasim Jr., Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Hassan Ali, Babar Azam captain and vice-captain Shadab Khan is included in the team. And Abrar Ahmed, Zaman Khan, and Mohammad Haris are some of the backup players.

Remember that Pakistan will play their first warm-up match against New Zealand on September 29.
