Hyderabad will get a Public University

Hyderabad to get a new public university; 100 acres acquired for ITMS.

ITMS will be a federal government chartered university located in Ganjo Takkar village of Latifabad taluka in Hyderabad district, according to details.
Danish Saeed, Sindh’s Secretary of Land Utilization Department, has also written a letter to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hyderabad informing him of the land transfer.

According to the letter, land previously reserved for the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has been transferred to the federal government for the establishment of ITMS.
In 2019, former Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the foundation stone for ITMS. ITMS will be the city’s second public university. Government College (GC) University Kali Mori is the city’s first public university.

The Sindh government finally announced last week that the National Curriculum of Pakistan (NCP), formerly known as the Single National Curriculum (SNC), would be implemented in the province.

Sindh Minister Of education Syed Sardar Shah revealed that the NCP will initially introduce a new syllabus of Mathematics, General Science, Computer Science, and English.
