IMF’s Predicted of Improvement in Economy of Pakistan

New York: IMF’s Predicted of improvement in the economy of Pakistan.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF’s) has released the World Economic Outlook Report 2024 in which Pakistan economy is predicted to improve.

According to the foreign news agency, the IMF has said in the World Economic Outlook report that Pakistan’s economy is improving and the economic growth rate in Pakistan is expected to reach 2.5 percent this year and 3.5 percent next year.

The report said that inflation this year will be 24.8 percent against the target of 21 percent and a significant reduction in inflation from 12 to 9 percent is expected in the next financial year.

According to the IMF, unemployment is likely to remain at 7.9 percent this year and 7.4 percent next year.

Earlier, the head of the IMF, Krista Lena Georgieva, while addressing the think tank of the Atlantic Council, said that Pakistan’s economy is performing well.
