According to the source. The ceremony will take place at Governor’s House. The swearing-in event will begin at 5 o’clock when Kamran Tessori will receive the oath from Chief Justice Sindh High Court Justice Ahmed Ali Shaikh. A number of dignitaries, political party leaders, and notables from various fields will attend the summit.
Tessori’s appointment as governor of Sindh was accepted on Sunday by Pakistan’s President, Dr. Arif Alvi. Since Imran Ismail of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf left his position as governor of Sindh five months ago, the position has been vacant.
Agha Siraj Durrani, the speaker of the Sindh Assembly, has been performing his duties as the interim governor of Sindh since Imran Ismail’s resignation. After Imran Khan was removed as prime minister in April 2022, Ismail resigned as governor of Sindh.
Tessori is a Pakistani politician who was born in Karachi on May 5, 1974. From May 2013 to May 2018, he served as a member of Sindh’s Provincial Assembly.
Political Career
Despite the success of his gold company, Tessori chose to enter politics and joined the Pakistan Muslim League-F. After a few years of service, he decided to leave the party and join MQM. In Pakistan’s 2013 general elections, he also won a seat in the provincial parliament of Sindh on the MQM party ticket. He won the majority of the votes in PS-111.
After revealing crucial information to the media, Tessori was requested to be suspended for six months. All of the MQM’s employees demanded this suspension and urged for another one if he refused to leave. After that, he left the MQM in 2018 and joined the Pak Sarzameen Party.
