KU Teachers Association boycotts evening classes over unpaid salaries.
Following the teachers second-day boycott of evening classes, the Karachi University (KU) vice chancellor convened a hastily scheduled meeting of the university deans.
Ghafran Alim, senior vice president of the Teachers Association, claimed that the teachers’ boycott of classrooms was a result of unpaid salaries.
But all of the visiting faculty members classes would still be held he noted.
Additionally, he announced that the general body of the Teachers Association will meet the following week on Thursday rather than Monday.
