Maryam Nawaz has called a parliamentary party meeting of PML-N today.
LAHORE: PML-N’s nominated Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz called a meeting of PML-N’s parliamentary party today.
Shehbaz Sharif, the president of the PML-N, had earlier on February 13 declared that Maryam Nawaz, the top organizer of the party, would be their candidate to become the chief minister of Punjab.
In the meeting, there will be consultation on government formation, selection of Speaker and Deputy Speaker, the newly elected members of Punjab Assembly have also been instructed to participate in the parliamentary party meeting.
According to PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb, Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the party, has also nominated Maryam Nawaz and Shahbaz Sharif for chief minister of Punjab and prime minister, respectively.

Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid akhtar zaman and IG Punjab met Maryam Nawaz, Chief Minister nominee, yesterday and informed Maryam Nawaz about the administrative and peace situation of the province.
