Netflix film with Peaky Blinders Finn Cole gets official release date.
Locked In, written and directed by Rowan Joffé and Nour Wazzi, will release date on November 1, according to the streaming service.
In this psychological thriller, the unhappy newlywed Lina (played by Rose Williams from Sanditon) faces off against her “once-famous, brittle” mother-in-law Katherine (portrayed by Famke Janssen from X-Men).
The official synopsis goes on to say, “An intensely passionate affair sends Lina on a journey of secrecy, betrayal, murder and a plot to seemingly destroy her.” But who is the genuine victim, and whom can she really trust?
Cole portrays Lina’s new husband. Cole is most recognized for playing Michael Gray in Peaky Blinders.
Other cast members include Anna Friel from Marcella and Alex Hassell from His Dark Materials.
In the season six finale last year, Cole bid farewell to his Peaky Blinders character. Michael is not anticipated to return for the upcoming Peaky Blinders film, as director Steven Knight has stated that it will be the seventh and final installment, concluding due to his vision.
Knight gave fans the reassurance that the “story isn’t over yet” when the show celebrated its tenth anniversary last month.
He remarked, “It hardly seems real that ten years have passed since Tommy Shelby first galloped that black horse through the streets of Birmingham.”
The show’s extraordinary success on a global scale is a result of the ingenuity and diligence of its devoted crew. Even after ten years, the story is far from over.
