Apple iPhone 15 launch: 5 features, 4 models, new colors, size tweaks.
According to the details, the new iPhone 15 series consists of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max with new features.
This series was introduced by Apple’s chief executive Tim Kroc in an event yesterday.
The launch event of the iPhone 15 series not only launched a new phone from Apple but also unveiled a new generation of headphones and smartwatches.
Charging port
In the first major change in the new iPhone series, the charging port has been replaced in the iPhone 15 after 11 years.
A USB-type charging port is installed in the new iPhone. This change will help to make data transfer more efficient and faster.
The reason for installing the USB type in the iPhone 15 is because of the users in European countries who have been demanding this change for a long time.
Design
This year’s iPhone Pro models use a titanium frame that will be lighter than last year’s Pro models.
The power button has been removed in this new version of the iPhone, with an action button replacing the silent switch for this year’s Pro models.
Also, the iPhone 15’s camera will be 48 megapixels with a periscopic lens that provides better optical zoom and will not affect the thickness of the phone.
Along with this, a periscope photo camera has also been added to the camera setup which will increase the optical zoom significantly.
Storage
For the iPhone 15 Pro models, the RAM has been increased by 2 GB compared to the previous models, which has now been increased to 8 GB.
Along with this, the iPhone 15 Pro models, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max have added the new A17 Bionic chip. It aims to improve the speed of the new models over the previous models.
Price
iPhone Pro Max is being declared as the most expensive phone in the history of Apple which is priced at 1199 dollars (256 GB). Similarly, the iPhone 15 Pro is priced at $999 (128GB).
As for the iPhone 15, it costs $799 (128GB) while the iPhone 15 Plus costs $999 (128GB).
