Newly elected members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly have taken oath in the first session amid severe disorder.
The meeting was presided over by Speaker Mushtaq Ghani, at the beginning of the meeting Fatiha was recited for the martyrs.
Among the sworn members are 87 members of Sunni Unity Council, 9 members of Jamiat Ulema Islam (F), 8 members of (N) League, 5 members of People’s Party, 2 members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarians and 4 independent members.
At the beginning of the meeting, the workers raised slogans of mandate thief while rioting in the House, due to which the meeting started with a delay of twelve hours.
On the other hand, Muslim League (N) leader Shobia Shahid raised a clock in the house and waved it, on which the PTI workers gave a bottle of water to Shobia Shahid, at the same time the workers also threw loot on Shobia Shahid.
