Pakistan Gets 5G New Launch Date

Delay in Pakistan’s 5G rollout. Deployment in early 2023 was delayed.

According to Syed Amin ul Haq, the minister of information technology and telecoms, 5G can now be expected in July 2023 after being delayed from June 2023 to March 2023.

The IT Minister announced the new date and pledged that the endeavor will considerably boost exports and the IT sector. He announced it at a ceremony for the UBIT Career Fest 2022, which was organized by the Department of Computer Science at the University of Karachi. He continued by expressing his certainty that the revised deadline will be fulfilled without additional delay.

When compared to exports from other industries, the minister noted that the IT sector’s exports had expanded dramatically.

In addition, he stated that the business community and academic institutions might assist in preparing graduates of IT programs to take advantage of the expanding possibilities provided by IT firms.

Additionally, the government is supporting IT businesses with significant investment rounds totaling around $373 million.

Nations all around the world are still having difficulty obtaining dependable and consistent 5G. It’s still difficult to acquire 5G connections in many locations, including the UK, and it’s unclear how Pakistan will do with the newest generation of mobile networks. We also advise that you use caution when interpreting the July launch date.
