Pakistani nation marks 16th Death Anniversary of the Benazir Bhutto.

Pakistan, a nation of 240 million people, is commemorating the 16th death anniversary of the assassination of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto on Wednesday.

The country was unable to fill the void left by the passing of the first woman elected to lead a democratic government in a country with a majority of Muslims.

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has organized the public meeting at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, and authorities have implemented additional security measures to ensure law and order during the event.

To commemorate Benazir’s death anniversary, PPP leaders plan to travel to Larkana, the hometown of the PPP founders. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, and other dignitaries will address the primary event.

Bilawal Bhutto spoke to his mother as an esteemed international leader in his address, recalling her as the first democratically elected female prime minister of the Islamic world.

According to him, the “Daughter of the East” is more than just a historical person; she is also a vibrant movement and a shining flame.

PPP leaders declared that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s sacrifice for the nation’s democracy’s restoration and bolstering would go on forever in the political annals of history.
