Pakistan Ranks Top Second of Umrah Pilgrims

Pakistanis rank 2nd in Umrah visiting Saudi Arabia in last 3.5 months.

370,000 Pakistani Umrah pilgrims have visited Saudi Arabia over the past 3.5 months of the current season, which lasts from the first of Muharram to the twentieth of Dhul-Qadah. The period between Dhul-Qadah 21 and Dhul Hijjah 30  know as the Hajj season.

This year, 1,964,000 pilgrims from all over the world arrived in Saudi Arabia on July 30 to begin the Umrah season but in addition, 1.78 million Muslims from all over the world arrived in Saudi Arabia by air, 180,000 made their way to Makkah by land, and 1,200 arrived by sea.

More than 551,000 Indonesians have traveled to Mecca for Umrah this season, followed by 370,000 Pakistanis, 230,000 Indians, and 100,000 Egyptians.

Indonesians made up the majority of the pilgrims from all other countries. So the duration of Umrah visas increased from one month to three months by the kingdom’s government.

Foreign pilgrims, including Pakistani pilgrims, who want to perform the Umrah are currently getting visas from Saudi Arabia.

The Umrah’s 90-day validity period extends from 30 days in Saudi Arabia. So with this new arrangement, pilgrims are free to go wherever they like within Saudi Arabia.

The Eatmarna app had reportedly been replaced, according to the most recent version from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, by the Nuuk app, which is available with iPhone, Android, and Huawei smartphones.

With the use of this app, users will be able to book permits for Umrah, Rawdah As Sheerafah, Umrah packages, tourism destinations in the Kingdom, and a number many other services.
