In the final of the ninth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Islamabad United bowler Imad Wasim took the best bowling record.
Former national cricket team all-rounder and Islamabad United’s left-arm spinner Imad Wasim won a big honor in the PSL final. Imad Wasim became the first bowler to take the most 5 wickets in a PSL final.

Wasim took 5 wickets by giving 23 runs in 4 overs.
Complementing Imad was leg-spinner and skipper Shadab Khan, who took the important wickets of Multan opener-keeper and opponent Mohammad Rizwan (run-a-ball 26) and Usama, finishing with figures of 4-0-32-3.
Multan’s Usama Mir took one wicket on the night to take a tournament-best 24 wickets in his ninth edition, while Babar Azam, former Pakistan captain of eliminator-defeated Peshawar Zalmi, was the top run-scorer with 569 runs become a player.
Imad Wasim while talking said that it was a very good wicket and I took some slow wins and got the win.
He said that we wanted to restrict the opposition team to 150 runs but they managed to score more runs than that.
Note that in the final of PSL Season 9, Islamabad United clinched the Champions Trophy by defeating Multan Sultans.
Batting first, Multan Sultans set Islamabad United a target of 160 runs to win. Which Islamabad United got on the last ball at the loss of 8 wickets.
