Information technology: increase in IT exports in month of Dec record.
The Ministry of Information Technology (IT) reported a record increase in IT exports for the month of December.
Caretaker IT Minister Dr. Umar Saif has said that a historic increase in IT exports has been recorded in December last year.
In December, IT exports increased by 22.67% to 303 million dollars.
Umar Saif said that convenience of keeping 50% dollars, digital payment system are the main factors.
Facilities for freelancers are the main factors to increase IT exports.
The IT Minister said that the caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar and SIFC are grateful for the facilities for Pakistan’s IT industry.
Our goals are to stabilize the economy and advance the IT and telecom industries.
He further stated that significant results in the IT sector will soon emerge, and we will also fulfill the target of 10 billion dollars.
Reforms have paved the way for the development of the IT industry for the incoming government.
