Pakistan’s National Sport of Hockey is Likely to be Banned

National sport of hockey is likely to be banned for 10 to 12 years.

The hockey players of Pakistan participating in the Olympics have requested Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to take immediate steps to solve the Pakistan national sport hockey problem, fearing a banned on hockey.

Karachi’s Abdul Sattar Hockey Stadium hosted a news conference attended by Olympians and Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) leaders. Secretary Haider Hussain said that this time FIH recognizes only his federation and no one else.

According to Haider Hussain, the organizers of the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament have sent a letter of apology for being in touch with various federations. Azlan has informed the hockey tournament management that he has been recognized by the International Hockey Federation as the PHF secretary.
