PARCO Oil Refinery Shut Down for ‘Scheduled Maintenance’

PARCO Oil Refinery shuts down for maintenance; on Pakistan’s petrol.

As part of routine maintenance, operations at Parco Oil Refinery have been temporarily suspended for five days, sources said.

As part of its routine maintenance work, Pak-Arab Refinery Limited has temporarily shut down its refinery operations for five days starting Wednesday night, April 5, 2023.

By April 11, 2023, the refinery will be operational again, he said. Supply of diesel and fuel (petrol) will not be affected by the planned repairs.

Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) had suspended operations for about 20 days starting from December 10.

This is to inform that 10PRL will start its Regenerative Hall on December 2022. According to the notice, the refinery will remain closed during this time.

The company said in a notice in January. PRL started its refinery operations on December 31, 2022.
