The 1st Eid special train was saved from a serious accident in Quetta.
According to data, a coach’s disc brake caught fire as the first Eid special train was moving between Hirok railway station and Machh siding.
ASI Shafiq Shehzad, a member of the Railways Police in Quetta, intervened though, and used the fire extinguisher to put out the fire right away.
A significant accident was avoided by hundreds of train passengers because to ASI Shafiq Shehzad’s brave and responsible action.
At 12:30 pm, the train began to move towards its destination after the fire was put out.
It was discovered that 1,202 people were riding in the inaugural Eid special train, which had 13 carriages and left Karachi’s City Station today.
According to sources, the Eid special trains earned the railway department Rs3.2 million. The train is due to arrive in Peshawar at 3 am on Wednesday.
