Rizwan’s win highlights Gaza awareness post-PK’s victory over Sri.
Using social media, Rizwan, who was instrumental in Pakistan’s development, showed his steadfast support for the oppressed Palestinian people. He used his platform which is now formally known as X to express his unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
Rizwan wrote, “This victory is for our brothers and sisters in Gaza,” in a heartfelt message. His devotion served as a moving reminder of the continued difficulties that the Palestinian people confront.

Hasan Ali and Abdullah Shafiq, two of Rizwan’s colleagues, were also recognized for their services, which were crucial in making difficult matches seem easy. Pakistan’s performance in the competition has been largely attributed to the players’ collaboration and togetherness.
In addition, Rizwan expressed his gratitude to the Hyderabadi community for their continuous hospitality and support during the ICC World Cup. The team’s motivation and the players’ strong sense of camaraderie have been greatly enhanced by the supporters.
