Sarfaraz Ahmed has resigned the captaincy of PSL Quetta Gladiators.
Pakistan cricket team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has resigned the captaincy of Pakistan Super League franchise Quetta Gladiators.
According to the sources, Riley Russo has been appointed as the captain by Quetta Gladiators for Pakistan Super League 9, Saud Shakeel will be the vice-captain.
According to sources, Sarfraz Ahmed has resigned from the captaincy on the suggestion of head coach Shane Watts. Sarfaraz Ahmed served as the leader of Quetta Gladiators for 8 years.
Sarfaraz Ahmed was the captain of Quetta Gladiators from the first season till now. Quetta Gladiators could not reach the playoffs stage in the last 4 seasons.
It should be noted that under the leadership of Sarfraz Ahmed, the Quetta Gladiator team won the PSL trophy in 2019.
