Saudi Arabia Beheaded Two Military Officers

Saudi court orders beheading of two military officers for rebellion.

According to a foreign news agency, the Saudi Arabian military officers, pilot lieutenant colonel Majid bin Musa Awad al-Balwi and chief sergeant Yusuf bin Reza Hassan al-Azuni, were sentenced to death.

One of the military officers convicted was sentenced to death for treason and failure to uphold the national interest and military honor.

Another army officer was sentenced to death for high, military and national treason. Both were put to death.

According to the foreign news agency, the two military commanders were detained in 2017 and accused of supporting the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

It should be noted that Saudi Arabia has executed around 73 suspects so far this year and has been criticized by foreign organizations for having the highest number of death sentences.
