Haris led Pakistan Shaheen will compete in the eight team ACC Men Emerging Teams Asia Cup and will leave Lahore early on Tuesday morning for Sri Lanka via Dubai.

Shaheen are grouped with India A, Nepal, and UAE A in Group B. The Shaheen first game of the season is against Nepal on July 14. Thereafter, on July 17 and July 19, respectively, they play UAE A and India A. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals on July 21. The tournament’s championship game will take place on July 23.
The six-day training camp was held at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore and featured the team’s 15-member roster as well as four reserves who were not travelling. The players practiced on all facets of 50-over cricket, including net sessions, while being supervised by the coaching team, which was directed by head coach Mohammad Masroor.
Shaheens, the defending champions, will enjoy the services of seven cricketers who have already played for the Pakistan Men’s side in addition to 22-year-old Haris (five ODIs and nine T20Is). Arshad Iqbal (1 T20I), Kamran Ghulam (1 ODI), Mohammad Wasim Jr. (2 Tests, 14 ODIs, 27 T20Is), Sahibzada Farhan (3 T20Is), Saim Ayub (8 T20Is), Shahnawaz Dahani (2 ODIs, 11 T20Is), and Tayyab Tahir (3 T20Is) are the international players in the team.
