Rawalpindi: Sheikh Rasheed’s “Lal Haveli” to be sealed this morning.
Abandoned Waqf Estate had decided to conduct an operation today to vacate Lal Haveli, Sheikh Rasheed residence, in view of which the Board of Abandoned Waqf Estate reached Lal Haveli this morning and sealed Lal Haveli in the presence of security.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), anti-corruption, establishment and police officials were also present.
According to the Deputy Administrator of Abandoned Property, it was decided to carry out an operation at 6 am on Thursday to evacuate the property. Damdama Temple in Bohar Bazar and Lal Haveli in Raja Bazar are owned by abandoned waqf properties.
On the instructions of the Supreme Court, both the properties were taken into the custody of the occupied mafia.
