Karachi: Social activist Sarim Burney was arrested.
KARACHI: Social activist and entrepreneur and head of non-profit trust Sarim Burney Welfare Trust International, Sarim Burney, has been arrested in Karachi on charges of human trafficking.
According to FIA sources, the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell of FIA Wing arrested him from Karachi Airport.

Sources say that the arrest is the result of a joint operation by the FIA and an international agency.

Sarim is a Pakistani businessman and chairman who runs his non-profit organization Sarim Burney Welfare Trust and serves as its Chairperson.
