According to Governor State Bank, the design framework for the new notes has already started.
It is expected that the design framework of the new notes will be completed by March.
Governor SBP has made it clear that they will not suddenly change notes in the style of India.
State Bank sources have said that this decision has been taken considering the complaints of fake notes across the country.
Which reflects the central bank’s commitment to maintain the integrity of Pakistan’s financial system.
