Tehreek-e-Insaf, which elected Barrister Gohar Khan as PTI chairman in the controversial intra-party elections, has announced to hold the intra-party election on March 3.
According to the details, PTI has released the schedule of intra-party elections, according to which candidates have been given the date of 23 and 24 February to submit their nomination papers.
Tehreek-e-Insaf says that according to the schedule, the scrutiny for the intra-party elections will be held on February 25, while decisions on the nomination papers in the election will be made by February 27.
The polling for the intra-party elections will be held on March 3, which will be held in the central secretariat of Tehreek-e-Insaf in addition to the four provincial secretariats in which important officials will be elected.
It should be noted that earlier Imran Khan resigned from the post of chairman PTI, according to the results of the intra-party elections last year, Barrister Gohar Khan has become the new head of the party.
During December, the Chief Election Commissioner of Inter-Party Elections announced the uncontested election of all candidates in Peshawar. Barrister Gohar Khan took over the leadership of PTI in place of Imran Khan.
