Tehsil Chairman and 10 other Killed in Abbottabad Attack

Rocket and firing attack claims 11 lives, including tehsil chairman.

It was discovered that the attack also claimed the lives of Atif Munsif Khan, the chairman of the Havelian Tehsil. The fire that broke out following the attack also hurt his car. Atif Munsif Khan, the head of Havelian Tehsil, was travelling from the village of Langra when he and his guards and employees were shot and killed.

Following the event, two people who had been hurt were transferred to a hospital. The incident was confirmed by Umar Tufail, the district police officer for Abbottabad.

Atif Munsif Khan and his friends were dead, and the car had been reduced to ashes when the police and a fire brigade vehicle arrived at the scene.

According to police sources, the effort to control the fire was called Rescue 1122, and officers as well as representatives from other agencies were involved. The assault’s location was surrounded by cops. Munsif Khan Jadoon, a former provincial minister, was the father of Atif Munsif Khan of Basti Sher Khan.

At the most recent local government elections, he was chosen as the tehsil chairman by independent voters. The candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz were both narrowly beaten by the deceased chairman.
